I very much liked C&E news in the early 2000s. It had a period of perhaps 10 years where I felt it was slipping. I feel it is climbing back out now. I am optimistic that the climbing out will continue with the management change. I hope so.
Wow, in a year, where no less than Nature has stated that it won't publish scientific results if they are not sufficiently 'woke', the C&E news is the topic picked on. The decline of Scientific American and other publications (takeover by the 'woke') is a much more relevant topic that (of course), the 'woke' won't talk about.
Hearty applause for this stance and appreciate your ethics.
Yet another reason to not renew my ACS membership.

It turns out that ACS is hopelessly 'woke'. The following may seem like a parody of 'woke'. Sadly, it is very real.
"A Special Topic Class in Chemistry on Feminism and Science as a Tool to Disrupt the Dysconcious Racism in STEM"
